I would just like to thank you for supplying me “Gloss Finish Sealer” I brought this for my hallway floor to try it as I have tried many of products, as your by far is outstanding and worked. My floor is amazing and shiny and I will be buying more the do my kitchen and diner along with my utility room. Honestly it’s a fantastic product and many thanks.
Your product has transformed my floors.

Endura Faux Fusion

I am interested in using this product and was wondering what is the best way to apply this product, I noticed that you sell special brushes to apply stains but I wanted to know if you can apply Endura Faux Fusion with a roller, also does it need to be sealed after application?

The Endura can be applied by brush, roller or sprayer, and yes it does need sealing after, ideally with the water based sealer

Stain or Paint my driveway ?

In April or May I want to paint or stain my driveway which looks bland.
Would take 10 – 12K to replace :-((
The house was built back in 1971 and the driveway is concrete but has a rough “tamped rough finish”.
I hear conflicting info regarding painting or staining the concrete.
Can you advise me – should I paint or stain ?
There are 2 cars sitting on the driveway.
Can you recommend a product of yours that would be best suited and how best to apply it.

I would forget about painting, the paint will start to wear off after a few months.

Staining on the other hand (as long as the prep is done correctly) soaks into the concrete to form a permanent bond.

I would suggest using the Solid colour stain (link below) as this is the quickest and easiest way to brighten up tired looking concrete.

I would like to acid stain a concrete floor that has been grounded with 200 grit pads and densified, will the adseals smart color dye work on the concrete?

For the Smartcolour stains to work properly the concrete need to be porous enough for the stain to soak in. Please look at the videos section on www.adsealcolours.co.uk, the last video shows you what you need to look for in regards to the prep.

I have recently made a concrete table for use inside. I was looking at possibly using your smart stain to make it a darker shade as it didn’t really come out as dark as I had liked. Wondered what it was like to use on new works. Also was looking at your polyeurethene gloss sealer. Was just looking for some advice really.

Yes the Smart colour will be ok to use and the High gloss PU will give a very nice gloss finish.

In regards to the prep work you will need to acid wash and profile the surface to remove any dusty material from the surface and to increase the porosity (there are a couple of videos on the website to show you what to look for when prepping the surface).

If I were to cover my concrete driveway with resin bound stone, would I be able to park a 4,500kg Mercedes Sprinter based motorhome on it without it sinking in?

As long as it is being laid on concrete and as long as the installation is done correctly it will be fine to park the motorhome on.

i want to add some colour to some outside cured concrete on a roadway in a green or brown which would be the best product

It really all depends on what you are looking for as the finished product. If you are just looking for a solid uniform colour the the best one to use would be the Solid colour stain (link below), if you are wanting a more translucent or mottled colour or to have a few colours together then the Smartcolour would be best.

How long does the concrete need to have been laid before the Endura Faux Fusion stain is applied?

Concrete needs to have been down a minimum of 30 days before applying a coating to the surface, it is also recommended to acid wash the surface to remove any weak or loose material from the surface to ensure a good bond.

Solid colour or Smartcolour

I have 170 sq metres of brand new concrete interior residential floors. The aim was to acid stain these floors. However, your products look a whole stack easier! I have watched all your videos and read all the info, but am still a little confused with product names/ranges. The effect I want are pale base colours with slightly darker ‘faux’ effects on top. On the colour charts, I am confused by ‘solid’ colours and/or Smartcolour. (2 different colour cards side by side with different products listed?) Please could you explain the differences, and also send me the colour charts? Many thanks (and also for the preparation/water test video in particular).

In simple terms the Solid colour stain is a opaque stain, this is used to give the concrete one smooth uniform colour or a uniform base colour for the mottled or faux acid effect.

The Smart colour is a semi transparent finish and is used to add the mottled effect by sprayer.

Take a look at the video “staining concrete start to finish” this, I think, is what you are looking to do.
